FOCUS Board of Directors

“FOCUS” stands for Family Outreach Community United Services. Local church leaders who were concerned about the growing poverty they were seeing in their community created FOCUS in 1982. The church leaders knew that they could be more effective if they collaborated on a project rather than providing services in isolation. FOCUS incorporated as a non-profit in 1984.

Today, local area churches still play a vital role as board members for FOCUS.
